Come celebrate the birth of our Saviour and King – Jesus Christ at our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight service. A time to worship, reflect and remember Christ's coming to earth. He is Emmanuel which means “God with us.”
We will honor Veterans during our Sunday Morning Worship.
Dear VETERANS, Thank you for your service and all that you do for our country. Thank you for keeping our country safe and strong. You are very much honored and very much appreciated for all that you have done. Thank you for your courage and for putting your country first.
ALL SAINTS DAY is a Christian holiday dedicated to honoring all saints – those recognized and canonized by the Church, as well as others who may not have been formally acknowledged. These "saints" are people who have lived a life of faith and are believed to be in heaven. The day is meant to celebrate their lives, examples, and contributions to the Christian faith. In many cultures, families visit cemeteries, light candles, and offer prayers for the souls of their loved ones who have passed away. First Pres will hold a special service to honor those who have passed since November 1, 2023 during our Sunday Worship Service. Please submit the names by email before October 27th no later than 10am. FirstPres301@gmail.com

A Blessing of the Animals is a ceremony that honors all creatures and the bond between humans and animals. We are hosting this event offering a prayer or dedication, a verbal blessing, and a sprinkling of holy water on the animals.
Pet owners do this for various reasons, including:
*Feeling better about a pet's place in life
*Confirmation that a pet is part of the family
*Reassurance that God is watching over a pet
*A reminder of the creation of God
We would love to partner with pet-friendly organizations, such as Adopt-A-Pet, shelters, or rescue organizations, so please let us know if you would like to join us in the Courtyard.
Some people bring their pets to church, others bring photographs of their pets and some have their pets blessed by naming them, whichever makes you more comfortable.
This is a FREE event!
